US 89A Prescott-Flagstaff

In 1926 the Prescott to Flagstaff highway was State Route 79. In 1940 or 1941, it was changed to US 89A and remained so until US 89 south of I-40 was obliterated in 1992. Today it is State Route 89A and in places is also known as Historic 89A.
